Motherboard/CPU
After upgrading my QDI explorere IV vx board from a P166 mmx to a 233mmx processor, and changing necessary jumpers (sys speed, multiplier and voltage), my bios tells me my processor is running at 210mhz!!! I have most recent bios (04.09.97) but reflashed anyway, any ideas????

I have seen many older motherboards misreport the speed.
If you are certain that you have the jumpers set correctly, I would download some of the more popular benchmark programs and test your system.
I have used the "Intel Mulitimedia" benchmark and it will report the true clock speed.
The reason your board is not reporting correctly is likely due to the fact that the new processor you just installed was not offered at the time the motherboard was created. also, the bios upgrade you list is very old too.
Good luck,
scoobie
