I am trying to get Win98 and NT on the same HD and partition. Someone told me it was possible if done correctly. Anyone have any ideas? Hi Clint!!

If you are going to put both of the O.S.'s on the same partition (not recommended) you will have to set the partition to FAT-16. If they will be on different partitions, you will need to set the NT partition to FAT-16 and the 98 partition can be 16 or 32. However, if you make it FAT-32, the NT system will not be able to read the data stored on the 32 partition w/o a special FAT-32 driver. This driver is hard to come by. Also, you will need to install 98 before installing NT.

See www.sysinternals.com for a fat32 driver under NT.
