I have a NT workstation 4 (SP3) machine on a Intel Pentium 233 MMX with 128 megs ram. Problem is after the screensaver (gl or otherwise) kicks on, the CPU usage goes to damn near 100% and there it stays. Under Task Manager it says that explorer and NTVDM.EXE wrestle with about 45% CPU usage apiece. Can someone tell me what exactly is going on here??? It will not go away until i reboot the computer.
