I'm a support prof and one of my users used password to encrypt some files. Now the "smart" guy forgot the original pass or typed something else instead.
Someone knows how can I "by-pass" this and open the original files??? |

There are thousands of programs out there designed to hack and/or crack MS Word and Excel password protected files. Try searching for on your favorite search engine and your bound to find one.

Try going to black.box.sk or neworder.box.sk I can't remember which. You should be able to find a program there for your purpose.

winky and danrak, thanks for your help!
Danrak, your direction was perfect.om the Neworder site I searched about password and found the elcomsoft.com site. There they have utils to help us, and a trial file to 30 days - free. |

I'm glad the I was able to help. If you search the neworder site you can find some great utils to help you in your job. I think thats where I found a program called show pass which shows me the cached passwords on the computer, plus the password behind the ***'s. Great utility to have when people can't remember the password for the internet conection.
