Question Windows 2000 and 16 bit programs

Has anyone had any problems with Windows 2000 and 16 bit programs? I have been trying to get Foxpro to work on a Windows 2000 machine and was told that it wouldn't work because Windows 2000 would not run 16 bit programs.

Windows 2000 runs 16bit programs.
Most of the old DOS programs will work, but there will be always some which won't.

I am running 2 16 bit programs under Windows 2000. By 16 bit, I mean one that was written to run under Windows 3.1. Both run well under Win2K. Whomever told you that 16bit programs will not run is an idi..er...doesn't know what they are saying. As was mentioned, there are some programs that will not run - even 32 bit programs. Try Cleansweep Ver 4.5 or 4.7. Not in a thousand years will those run.

With FoxPro, I wouldn't be worried about the WIN2K issue, I'd be more worried if it will run on a 333 or faster processor. EEK!
