When Windows detects a new plug and play device after being prompted to locate the device drivers, I receive the following error message "Msgsrv32 has caused a general protection fault in Module Kernel32". This is a Apricot LS series running Windows 95C.

This problem has been reported to occur on computers using various Intel
processors (CPUs) in the Celeron and Pentium II families. The problem may occur
more frequently on computers using Celeron 300 processors with no L2 cache.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 98 1st Ed. This problem was corrected in Windows 98 2nd Edition.
Anyway, a supported fix is now available from Microsoft. To resolve this problem you wanna contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the fix.
Depending on the case, they might not charge you. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
