asx conversion??
Does anyone know how to convert an audio file with extension .asx to a .wav file? I realize that .asx is a playlist extension, but it seems to actually be the audio file itself. Do you think it is really an .asf file? Can I just rename it? Does anyone know how to convert it? Thanks for all suggestions.

often files will give a clue if you open them with a txt editor.
Looking through the code can be a pain but may tell you exactly what your dealing with.

Yeah! How often has a peek with an ancient DOS Norton Commander found what I needed to know?
