Loose Lips Sink Ships/Security Issues
What type of information do you gather on your competion? I worked for a place one time that sent me in to competiters to pose as a possible employee. I would become buddies with a few of the guys and eventally have so much information I could gain access to their networks. What point do you let new employees have thieir own accounts? How well do you do background checks?

The last place where I worked, we would routinely call up other computer stores, and check what their prices of RAM and stuff were. However, we were smart enough to do call blocking, so it would come up as "Private Name/Private Number" on their caller ID.
They weren't as bright. They'd often call us and check our RAM pricing. "Hey, it's Microage calling. We're selling an 8 Meg SIMM for $1 right now." (back when an 8 Meg SIMM cost $200)
