It just amazes me when I try to go to a hardware vendors website for drivers, and there site is down. I have a ladie's computer in front of me that was brought in for a format and reload of 98. After the install, there was 3 devices needing drivers:

3COM Modem - Downloaded them fine.

Aureal Sound Card - Aureal's page loads, support server is down.

SiS Video Card - SiS's website works, drivers are on a European server, which is down.

These people manufacture hardware, yet they can't even keep there own servers online? That's scary!!!

Anybody who deals with Ingram Micro I'm sure has heard this line quite often: "I'm sorry sir, the computers are down right now."

The biggest computer distributor in the whole world, and there network crashes at least once a week...that instills confidence in me!!!
