    Question Soda, or Cofee

We all, or most of us, have our morning aflictions, what do you drink when you wake up, or go to work???

I myself live on diet mountain dew. I used to drink 7 or 8 cans a day of regular mountain dew, but when i looked at the calories, i learned to live on diet mountain dew. If i am broke, or to lazy to go to store and get some, I will lower myself to the free coffe in the office though, but I only drink coffee for the cafeine!

I drink roughly 8-10 cups of coffee a day. I have pop (soda to the sub 49th parallelers) on the rare occassion, but not that often really.

I drink soda only when having lunch.

I drink neither on a cold morning, we have some kind of deal with a catering company, so we are supplied with tea bags ( a wide assortment from old english to green), hot chocolate and coffee. All free. I'll drink hot chocolate on cold mornings.

    Cool

I've got my case of jolt cola I will drink once in a while. I also may have tea or hot apple cider in the morning, the tea seems to give me lots of energy. Other then that I drink tons of water though out the day.

I wake up with about two pots of coffee, and 4 energy (No Doze, etc..)pills. Then I hit the free coffee at work till about 10am, followed closely by sodas all day long, and yet I really never wake up till I get home now that I think of it.

I used to smoke about 3/4-1 pack a day for the past 10 years. I quit a year and a half ago, and haven't looked back since (well, ok, I've had about 3 cigarettes in the past year).
I quit using Zyban. It wasn't an easy trip, but it was worth it.
I promissed myself that I wouldn't be an anti-smoker when I quit, so I won't say, "You should quit!"
I will say, if you feel you have more bad cigarettes in a day than good ones, then maybe you should check out Zyban.
In a nutshell, it's an anti-depressant, and not a nicotene suppliment like the patch or the gum is. So, when you quit, you are completely depriving your body of nicotene, and not just teasing it with suppliments. You're quitting cold turkey, but Zyban is helping take the edge off. You tend to forget that you need a cigarette.
The physical strain from quitting is still there...the sweats, the shakes. But the crankiness is gone.

Three cups of coffee in the morning is my max...anything more and I get the shakes. I usually have iced tea at lunch. No sodas at all unless I'm onsite and the customer offers me one...just too sweet for me.
Also, I quit smoking cigarettes 22 years ago and haven't missed them at all! Will you still be smoking 22 years from now...if you're still alive?!?

Amen and Alleluia to that brother!!! Zyban and 12 weeks and ANYONE who is ready can quit smoking. You just have to be ready and willing to quit. I used to smoke 2.5 – 3 packs a day and if I can quit anyone can.

I drink about 5 cups of coffee a day. A glass of milk with the kids at supper and a diet something before I go to bed.
