One of my customers had the following amazing problem:

He brought his machine at the store and told me:

- This machine sucks. I use computers since early 80's but this one is the worst.
I asked him why.
He replied:
- It has the latest and best hardware on it, but it is though very slow. Fix it!!!
- Okay, I said and took it in the Technical Department.

I tested it and was very slow I confess.
I added more RAM, checked the TSR programs, formatted and reinstalled Windows. Nothing changed.
I forgot to say that he had 2 CD-ROM drives.
One CD-ROM reader and one recorder. I used the reader to install windows.

After an hour and no results, I pulled out the recorder's tray and what did I see???

He had a disk inside. This disk was provided by HP Deskjet Printers and had a World Football Championship logo on it. Of course that wasn't a CD-ROM, just a piece of useless plastic!!!!!!!!!
All this time, the system was trying to read the damn plastic!!!!

I took it off, turned on the machine and it worked perfectly.

I called the COMPUTER EXPERT and told him about the whole situation. He couldn't believe his ears:
- I thought it was a kind of Demo for the world football championship! he said.

I couldn't help myself from getting him to eat it...
