Stupid Computer Techy Tricks
Was building a system for a customer of mine, installed all the hardware, turned the machine on --Nothing--, unplugged everything except CPU,Mem, and HDD, still no bootup, no post -- nothing. Looked at the Motherboard manual, CMOS jumper must be set to normal, the jumper (from the factory) was set to clear - OOPS!

pcchips ships there mobos that way. in the most recent one i saw they put an insert in the mobo manual telling you about this.

Yes I have seen PC Chips do this, also ECS tends to do the same thing. It figures though, since ECS own PC Chips (or maybe PC CHips owns ECS, I know one owns the other.)
