Contradictory terms
I was dealing with a support call the other day. It had been a long day, and I can't remember what the exact nature of the call was - a user's proxy settings I think, anyways, I was doing my "I'll-explain-it-slowly-because-you're-a-user" act, and she said "not all users are stupid you know".
That got me thinking.
I had always thought that the terms "intelligent" and "user" were mutually exclusive (much in the same way as "military intelligence"), but then I hit upon the chestnut......
Microsoft. Works.
And now somebody's going to urinate on my fire by saying that someone else posted this about a month back......
*sniff* i don't care......
Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he's warm for the rest of his life.

Okay consider yourself urinated on:

This dates 1998. But I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I think there are only so many good jokes out there, and of the thousands of people who "invent" them, I never get to be the one who goes first...
My favourite so far, 'cause I'm from Ontario, is "Harris Government"

I'm Canadian, I get it! It would probably be even better if I wasn't a neglected Maritimer.
