    Post on board sound

    hi..

    i have a tx pro II and i want to use on board sound with win98 but i need the driver form it. i have tryed the win98 cd but it does not have the driver can any one help me ????

    the mother board is m571 tx pro II

    If memory serves, I believe that board has a CMI8330 sound chipset.

    Try <a href="ftp://www.pcchips.com.tw/driver/sound/soundpro/win98/sndpatch.zip" target="_blank">this</a> but no promises that it will work. Could you give us a little bit more info on the board itself? Could you look at the board and give us names and numbers on the chipset?
