[RESOLVED] COMPAQ DESKPRO

Hello All.

I've just recently purchased a compaq Deskpro for my second home pc. So far it runs just fine. BUT, every time i start up the machine, i get this annoying COMPAQ screen for about 10 seconds or so. I've been told its part of the BIOS. Would anyone know how to get rid of this. Or maybe just change the COMPAQ logo to a soothing picture instead?

That image is "burned" into the bios software
I beleive there is a program out there that can convert a normal .bmp to a particular type of image used by the BIOS software.
I'll try and find it.

There may be a BIOS option to enable/disable the user screen.

I tried the Esc key .. And looked into the BIOS options... couldn't get rid of it that way.

Any other ideas ??
