    Try this:

    MOV AL,adr
    OUT 70H,AL
    NOP
    MOV AL,0
    OUT 71H,AL

for "adr" in range 78H - 7FH. On this adress is stored the password. Or try clear all CMOS data by range 00H - 7FH.

    Cool

I have a utility that you run from a DOS bot disk that will return the BIOS to it's original state... KillCMOS. Email me and I'll send it to you.

it *is* a virus, it has all the requirements
it destrys one bit in cmos to reset it to defaults.

There is also a utility called ctbios that gives you access to bios passwords. I'm not sure if it works with the thinkpad though.
