Hey,
I have a system that for some reason the keyboard types the wrong letters every once and a while, and the only way to fix it is to Shut down, unplug and replug in the keyboard. For example, I'll be working and all the sudden the cursor keys start to put slashes. I have tried reloading the system, a different keyboard and motherboard, but it still does it after a little bit. The longest it went was about 2 months problem free. Any ideas what I might be missing? Any idea's would be great, thanks |

I used to have the same problem, but taking some keyboarding classes took care of it.
Have you tried using another keyboard? Yours may be shot. ------------------ www.el-mono.com |

You're using one of those Gateway keyboards, aren't you?
I get these calls every once in awhile. To unprogram the macros try ALT + END MACRO. (Hold own the ALT key and the END MACRO key) Maybe the key is "SUSPEND MACRO". It's something to do with macros anyway. I've bumped a wrong key and programmed those things before. I don't like'em.
