Compaq computers and partition sizes...

Has anyone heard of any problems with having Windows installed on a partition greater than 2 gigs on any Compaq computers?

You may already know this, but just in case...Compaq doesn't use the typical bios rom chip, they have instead, a "rompaq" which is software that you have to D/L that puts a special partition on the hard drive for the setup. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the computer won't function right unless you install this partition. I think that once you do this you should be ok with partitions larger than 2 gigs
