How to install my 50x acer cd-rom
How can i install this. He is already in the cpu. what do you mean he;'s already in the CPu? do you mean that when the computer boots (POST) it detectes the CD-ROM ?
if so it's already installed...
anyway here's how to install any cd-rom.
1. open Computer.
2. loacte a free IDE connector.
3. if this IDE cable is already connected to another device (not the mobo) set your CD-ROM as "Slave" (jumpers in the back..
if not - set it to Master.
connect IDE cable, audio cable (cd-rom to sopund card) and power connector.
4. close computer
5. turn computer on...
That's it - no drivers are needed ..
