Red face Help on making backup

Don't know if this is the right space to ask ths but I need help.
I have two toddlers at hoe a 3 1/2 and 2yr old, both always touching stuff wen there no supposed to and not caring if I tell them to stop. So I usually make backups of my games and use the backups to play and put the Main copies away till the backup becomes unusable. I am currently trying to backup No One Lives forever, and keep getting the following error:
Error: Unable to read DATA sectors to on device 0:1:0
    Illegal command request (04h 00h 02h 05h 64h 00h)

I have tried both Nero and CDRwin and neither can copy this or make an image to disk then burn. I have a 4x4x24 mitsumi cdrw with latest firmware, rest of system is grat so dont really need to go in to details. I just haven come across this error before and wanted to see if anyone ad some advice on it. Is this disc just un copyable? any advice is appreciated because this is a great game and I dont want to loose it lol

This is one of those new games that has copy protection built into the CD. I don't think there is a way to copy it, and I don't think it's a good idea to discuss that topic here.

anyone know if the clonecd demo is limited to 1x speed? it doesnt say it anywhere but man I tried it last night ans it took me half an hour to get to two percent! Nero and CDRwin dont take anywhere near that long! Maybe it is the copy protection on the disc that is throwing it off. Many you wouldnt beleive how many programs and periphials I have went trough with my kids, hope I can get this backed up soon!

    Cool

yes it is limited in speed you have to buy it to unlock it but it is quite normal to take that long to read the copy protection it may take an hour or more but it will do the job, clauded
