    Post Asus A7A2666 MB W/ memory problems

    I have A7A266 and my system freezes when I install both of my 256 MB PC2100 DDR DIMMs. They are genuine Micron DDR DIMMs. I updated to 1005.005 and I still have the problem, regardless of which slots the dimms are in. I tried reversing them and I tried using only 1 dimm. works with 1 dimm. tried the other dimm alone as well, worked fine. Just having a problem with both of the dimms in there. I'm using Windows 2000 with Service pack 2.

    try getting the newest bios for your main baord, and the newest main baord drivers.
