    Post Amd K6-3 400 and Win95

    Hi!
    I have just bought an Amd K6-3 400 Mhz and now want to install Windows 95, but I get a protection error when I try to start Windows after the installation has finished, I know there is a patch or an update, but I can't find it anywhere! I have been told it is a problem in WÃ*n95, when you run cpus faster than 300 mhz! Where can I find this patch, it's not Service Update 1, I have tried that one without any luck!
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    The problem does lay within windows 95. You need to go to microsofts web site and d/l the amdk6up.exe patch. If you want I can e-mail it to you also. Once it goes it, you shouldn't have any problems.
