AMD K62 300/66
Does anyone know if AMD included their 3D Now instruction set in both the K62 300/66 and the K62 300/100? I just purchased the 300/66 version, as it was the maximum speed my M.B. would accept and the vendor who sold me the CPU advertised it as a 300/66 with 3D Now. Most of what I have read so far indicates that the 3D Now instruction set was only included on the 300/100MHz bus chips.
Your time and assistance is appreicated.

I believe that depends. There were some K62/300 @ 66 mhz (seems AMD let their QC slip a bit), but they were K62s. And that is the key. If it is just a K6300, then no, I do not believe they have 3DNOW.

Lysergic is right - if it's a K6 300 it doesn't have 3D Now (just MMX), but if it's a K6-2 (66 or 100MHz version) it should have 3D Now. That was the biggest change in going from the K6 to K6-2... adding the 3D Now! instruction set.
