Resolved [RESOLVED] A+ change at end of month

My schooling and training has been geared towards the current A+ exam. How important is it that I take it before it changes?

I had been meaning to get A+ certified for quite a while, but kept putting it off. I decided to do it now because I have no experience with Windows 2000 yet. It sounds like your background is geared towards the current exam, so you might as well take it now. There is a good study guide available at http://cramsession.brainbuzz.com. Good luck.

Take the test now! your A+ is a one time test it's good for life, Not like Micro$oft, Where you have to re-Certify every time they retire a O/S. !

I used one by Michael Myers and a two volume set by Sybex. Both were easy to understand and read. I think two different books is a good idea because each one will have strengths and weaknesses.

I used the sybex book and a+ for dummies, both pretty good but different people have different study habits, you have to find whats best for you. I way over prepared for the test, it was a breeze took both tests at same time
