my w2k atx pc just goes to "safe to shutdown pc now" screen - i cant find anything in the bios.
any suggestions? mobo: epox 8kha+

hi there Mr_Miyagi ,,,a lot of people have asked this one (inc myself)
I think you will find answer based around power management , in windows and in bios , also on 2k (if all else fails) ,,,if u have a Gforce card , untick gforce help (in services) have a look around APM , if enabled ,disable ,,and visa versa good luck |

Go to the Control Panel and select APM enable. It should work now.

so, ENABLE apm in control panel..???? as a reflex i disable this damnation from hell in bios/cp for every pc i have had. i take it that w2k is slightly different in this respect. I'll try it and report back.
