my PHILLIPS CDD3610 not burning anymore.....
why my phillips CDD3610 is not burning anymore.... the reading ok.. but when burning failed.... heLPP...
my system is
AMD K62 500
98 MB ram
10 GB HDD
riva TNT2 M64 32Mb
win98 SE

It's prob dead. Those 3610s were not made to last very long, especially under heavy use. Fortunatly mine is still kicking but I have been eyballing the phillips 8x4x32. Best buy has him for only 89.00

3610 was one of the best CD-RW units Philips made. As it's too old now, it's probably dead.

yep think u will find its dead i had one it lasted 1 week after 12 month warranty ended just kept gettin coaster after coaster luckily philips felt sorry and gave me another one under warranty a philips CCDRWA460 it aint must chop but it was better than buyin a new one and the repair mob told 12months was about the best u getout of one pity they tell ya that when ya buy them

Wow. I must have read this wrong or have been sleeping. I havnt seen a good 3610 and we used to carry them. Customers had a very hard time with support. They were very light duty. Had to wait 1hr between burns and unknown to most users had to recall and replace a ton of them. I guess there were a few good ones though. I am sure this one is dead and that is from too much experience with them.
