[RESOLVED] audio extraction rate ? help?
I have a question about my audio extraction rate. When trying to rip cd's the fastest my cd-rom will extract is 3X (576 kb/sec) is there ANY way to up this or do I just need to shell out the bucks for a better Cd-rom?

If you want a good IDE drive, go for a Sony, very quick audio extract, I measured x20, nearly as fast as my SCSI Plextor.

hi there , try this one CD Speed after running it u may be able to alter your settings a obtain a gain in performance (this is very close to the one issued with nero 5+ http://209.15.164.79/go.php3?link=cdspeed.html
my plex scsi REALLY flies !
