Post 4.8 Client and Zenworks 2 Policies ?

Having a problem with Windows Workstations (NT 4.0 and 2000) using the Novell Intranetware Client 4.8 and creating Dynamic Local User profiles (DLU's). Works fine with the 4.7 client.

Background: If the 4.7 Client is on the workstation and there are Zenworks 2 Policies in place. Everything works fine (i.e. - Clients are created dynamically, roaming profiles are in place, the workstation registers on the Tree, etc). If the client is upgraded to 4.8, everything stops working. The Policy packages are still in place.

I thought that 4.8 was still supposed to recognize Zen 2 policies even though its designed to look for Zen 3 policies as well.
    I can't understand why it won't work.
The requirements say Windows 95 or better... So I installed it on my Linux box.

I don't have any experience with this type of setup, but check that when you install the new version of the client, you are installing the Workstation Manager component. If that isn't there, ZEN won't work on that workstation.

It may also be a known issue with that version of the client. Check with http://www.novell.com/search/support/kb_index.html and see if that turns up anything.
