    Cool

I have an HP 7100 i that I bought used off of a kid, it is a bit slow but not too bad for the price, I just need better software
I also saw an LG cdrw going for about 250 Can. , I like the LG cd rom drives since they work good , I have 2 cd roms by LG
Take a look at HPS product line and LGs and if you have the money I here that Plextor is a good make

Plextor Burnproof. May be expensive but you will save the money in the long run by not wasting any discs due to buffer under runs.

Apparently Creative have a drive out with Burnproof as well, but I have always swore by Plextors for reliability.

Plextor Burnproof 12x10x32x is the best right now and Plextor is the best of all times.

I would have to agree with the masses and say that the Plextor drives are by far the best but if your a tight *** like me the HP burners are just as good. After using them for a while I found that creating and image first and then creating the cd from the image I don't have as many coasters lying around. As a matter of fact I haven't had a bad burn on a CD yet since I have done it this way . I usualy save the image for items like OS's so if someone needs the cab files for something I can run a quick burn without looking for the cd. Of course this also requires alot of HD Space considering that the image is as large as the cd you copied. Hope the info helps......
