Post 9.5mm hard drives

You can stick any 9.5mm, 2.5 inch notebook drive in there. If memory serves me correctly I think the largest 9.5mm is an 18G. I know there's 12G 9.5mm. I believe the 25G is still in a 12.7mm format. It's not hard at all to do.

I ran into this wall once before. You have to make sure that the mounting location has the screw holes in the same place as the drive (or mounting bracket). Seems that the location for the screws changes a while back so some older style notebooks cannot take the newer hard drives and vice versa.
