Just purchased a used Toshiba 220CDS laptop for our 14 year old for school stuff. It came with the original Toshiba CD, but we need the diskette. Where can I get one?
Thanks, Sue |

Exactley what dieskette are you talking about? A recovery floppy to go with the cd? If that is the case you will need to call Toshiba and get one. Otherwise you can check here to see if they have what you need: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...ortables&Famil y=Satellite&Model=220CDS&CheckPage=Technical&Cente r=Download
hope this helps weck [This message has been edited by weck (edited October 30, 2000).]

The toshiba 220 CDS should boot directly from the Recovery CD. Reset the laptop and hold the ESC key. Press F1 to check the system. Look for BOOT options (Right Hand Side, near the end) make sure CD-ROM - FDD - Hard Drive is selected. If it is not then cycle over using the cursor keys and when you have that option highlighted press the SPACE BAR to cycle throught the available options. Press END to save the changes and restart the computer with the cd in the drive - it should go to town.
