Screen for Compaq 17XL260
Got a Compaq Presario 17XL260 laptop. Any idea where I can find a replacement screen for it? It's 13.3" active part # 198699-001

Call Compaq - of course -
You may also check to see who manufacturers that screen, what else it goes to and search ebay for the screen or any laptop it belongs in with a blown mainboard. ------------------ Death is lighter than a feather - duty heavier than a mountian.

I would search ebay for a parts machine or one with a bad mainboard, I think you will find that a replacement from compaq will be over $1000
