I've been given an HP360LX with a 14.4K pcmcia card modem. Modem dials & connects to ISP, checks username, password and says connected, however I cannot surf as get errors page not found and in inbox tells me can't find pop3 server.
Regular dial-up modem with same isp works fine. Any ideas please? |

You might want to check out <a href="http://www.hp.com/cposupport/mobile_computing/support_doc/bpia1190.html" target="_blank">Product Specs for your Palmtop</a>.
Go here for <a href="http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/pt360lx_swen.html?Submit.x=9&Submit.y=6" target="_blank">drivers & downloads for your Palmtop</a>. Also, go here for <a href="http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/get_doc.pl?SNI=pt360lx&LC=mobile_computing&Tfile=b pia1102" target="_blank">Connecting to UUNET in the U.S.</a> Also, if you're using MSN as an ISP, go here for <a href="http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/get_doc.pl?SNI=pt360lx&LC=mobile_computing&Tfile=b pia1088" target="_blank">Cannot Connect to the Internet Using Microsoft (R) Network</a>. Also, that 14.4K modem might be limiting you...I've notice that if I log on at that speed, very little activity occurs. Let us know how it goes...Good Luck! DonJ
