[RESOLVED] cd-burner + cdrom install..
I have installed a burner and 52xcdrom. The burner is not recorgnized. Though it is seen under device manager. any suggestion would be appreciated.

If it is in Device Manager than it has been recognized. Does it show up in the BIOS? You will have to install CD writing software in order to utilize its recording capabilities. What type of cd writer is this? Is it external?

The software used is nero, which is telling me its not recorgnizing the cdburner. The internal acer cdburner 32/12/8 .

You may want to remove the CDRW from the Devise Mgr, then reboot the PC. Windows may reinstall the drive.
