This is just my luck.
I bought an 8100 from a show for next to nothing and it has a bios password on it. I tried to take the laptop apart and disconnect the cmose battery but it doesn’t seem to work. Maybe I’m not disconnecting the proper battery. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.. Thanks......

The only way to rid a password on the Toshiba's is to get a parallel loopback and wire it as listed below. Turn it on with the loopback attached and the password will be removed.
2-32 1-13 31-10 36-11 14-12

note that this will not remove the password for good, only disable it and let you in the bios to remove it. If you fail to remove it in the bios, the next time you boot without the parallel loopback on, the password will be back.
