Post Deciding on The Sony FX215 and the HP 5430

Whats up. I am going to be buying a laptop soon and i am trying to decide on two. The Sony FX215 and the Hewlett Packard 5430. Now, the Sony comes with a dvd, 15 inch tft xga screen, 10 gig hard drive, 800 duron, onboard ethernet and modem. Now the sony can have a max of 256 memory but comes with a free second battery. The hp comes with alll the same but a 850 duron, 14.1 tft xga screen. But the HP has a max of 512 memory and a 100 mail in rebate. I could by an extra battery with the rebate for 150 but i am still paying for te extra battery. Should i go with Features or Expandibilaty? i am leaning toward the expandibility. Tell me what you think.

Thanks

The Sony comes with a second battery because the original one lasts only 25 minutes. That's why it is free. You can verify this at your dealer. It's a nice machine otherwise, and the Duron processor runs a little hot. Make sure the fan is working correctly. Only other problems I've heard about is the modem not staying connected to AOL, and there's a MS article anout WDM drivers on ME machines.
