    Resolved [RESOLVED] Memorex CD-402E--Let's play...Master & Servant

    O.K., so the old Depeche Mode song does not fit the terminology bill precisely.

    However, when I went looking around for the jumper settings of this CD-ROM before throwing a secondary IDE into my (apparently ancient) mix, I felt that it might as well have been made in the eighties!

    So, I am hoping that someone out there will be kind enough to pass along the jumper specs for the Memorex CD-402E.

    usually if i find a drive that doesnt have a little sticker with jumper settings i just bs it and start randomly putting the jumper. eventually you should find the right setting. although if you have two drives on 1 chain make sure you know what the other drive is set to ( or else it becomes a major pain in the *** really bloody fast, look dudem i can sort of ryme). anyway, good luck dude.
