Exclamation Solo 1150 floppy problem

ok, the system see's the floppy, but I can't access it. The system tries for a minute then gives up. Anyone know any reasons why this would happen and what will fix it? Thanks

well check and make sure the bios lists it as the right density whether it be low or high density. that is, make sure it says 1.44mb if it's a high density disk drive or 720k if it's low density. the bios allows you to change this option regardless of what kind of drive it is. check that out. this floppy option should be in the 1st menu of your bios such as general options or system options, something like that but whatever it's labeled, it should be the 1st menu in your bios setup menu. hope this helps!
