My Mecer laptop has been acting weird for the past year and I havnt been able to sort out the problem. I experienced Fatal registry errors aswel as various other errors too numerous to mention and Ive reloaded contless times. I recently discoverd the Ram was not seated properly(in fact it was never pushed flat) and reseated it. BUT unfortunitely I still get all kinds of errors. D u think I should try to reload agian? I have scanned it numerous times from different pcs over a network for viruses. PLEASE HELP DUNNO WHAT THIS COULD BE

I would suggest replacing the memory. It is the usual cause of most registry errors that I see on pc's and notebooks.

I would first try a burnin program to test the system components - be sure to use one that boots from a disk and not into windows - also - if the memory was not seated correctly and had errors, then the errors were repaired you may need to reload the OS to completely repair the problems.
