[RESOLVED] Cd-rom driver Creative malfunctioning
Hello, I've got a CD-Rom driver Creative CD5233E 52x; the system can see it like unit E: but the cd-rom driver cannot read any cd!
Why?
My OS is Windows 98, CPU AMD 650mhz and 128 Mb ram.
Thanks for the answer and excuse me for my bad english!

Hi.
Probably your CD-ROM unit is faulty. It's common on Creative ones.
You can check the Device Manager, though, and verify everything about the Bus Master driver is ok. If so, you should replace your CD-ROM unit.
See what's going on and let me know.
Don't worry about your English. As you can see, you're not the only one who doesn't speak English fluently.
