[RESOLVED] Can you help me??

I do not know any of the right words for any of this, but, I have had my computer crash twice on me now. Yesterday, I was just surfing around the internet, and the screen went blue. I finally just shut it down. When I tried to start back up, everything was all blury and I had no curser or anything. I finally put in the cd that came with the computer. And, totally redid everything. My computer seems to be running great now, better then ever, and my scanner is actually working now. It had never worked correctly before. Can you understand any of what I am trying to say? Like I said, I don't know any of the right words, but, I am trying to learn. Thank-you for any help. I live in a very rural area, and there is just no one to teach me these things. Also, do you know of any books that would help me? Would Windowsme for dummies help?

It sounds like you did what you needed by restoring everything on your computer from the original CD. Windows ME for dummies might be a good starting point. Another thing you might want to consider is to go to like CompUSA or some training center and they have classes that you can take to learn how to use your computer, and the software that is included.
