Ram In Windows ME
Will upgrading my computer's RAM to 256 have any significant improvement in WIndows ME? I heard that it doesn't really make a difference in Windows ME by using over 128 MB of RAM, only in OS's like Win2k.

You will notice improvements if you run multimedia programs, 3D games etc. If I were you, I would do it. 256MB of SDRAM is cheap these days!

IT also depends on your CPU, I am running a dual and since I got an extra 128, it's significantly improve at least 40% at startup booting and 3D games.. I got mine @ a comp show for 33 bucks. Fry's electronic running for $59 w/ same OEM SDram. I recomment an upgrade!!!

I noticed a big difference from 128 to 256MB in intensive games like Black & White...it's definitely worth it.

I agree 256 if you are multi tasking, or gaming and hell as cheap as ram is right now might as well. Also you can increase your video aperature in your bios the more ram you have. Helps a bit with video studder.
