How do I get rid of the volume icon in the task bar?
The volume control icon in the lower right hand corner won't go away. In win 98 there was a check box where you can disable the icon. In ME there is no check box. Is there any other way of removing it?

Control Panel - Sounds & Multimedia and it should be at the bottom of the first screen.
