does win me have system file checker?
i found SFC on win98 very useful so i want to know if is something like that for win me

He is just being funny, FYI (because 98 and ME are so similar he is just making a joke)...you are misleading people Miyagi hehe <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
Seriously though, if typing SFC doesn't work, then...I don't know. Is there a particular problem you are having? maybe we can fix it. Also I hear System Restore fixes a lot of problems like that.

SFC doesn't come with Me, instead it comes with SFP (I believe that's the acronym for it). System File Protector.
SFP supposedly protects vital system files from being damaged/deleted. I love SFC though, wish MS would have left that as is.

that'll be the system file protector thats hogging 5 gig of space then.
