Question How many versions of Windows ME ARE there?

The description of this forum says "Get help on all versions of Windows ME!". I didn't know there was more than one...what's the deal with that?

It's so Scott doesn't have to keep changing the forum description when MS release a new version

Next "version" is probably going to be XP. Remember how ME was supposed to be a combo between 9.x and 2000 just like XP is now supposed to be but judging from ME's track record...

Even though most of the mods seem to have this thing about me (NOW A MASTER TECH hahahaha), I guess we can all happily agree that Windows ME sucks.

BTW, Windows XP really DOES use the 2k kernel, unlike ME. I can't wait to see how it is. I've heard good and bad news about it...about 5 people said it sucked, 1 person said it ruled...what's the story here..

    *snip*(NOW A MASTER TECH hahahaha

All the more reason to change the rating system based on quality not quantity.

    Listen and listen well

I know very well that you are not the "most popular" guy in the forums and the chat room.
Up until now I've seen you make a total *** of yourself with stupid posts, posts that are just to piss off some one else etc, but I didn't give a damn.

It's actually people like you that degrade this board from a professional level to "the Springer show".

The only TRUE way to see if someone is worth the "*" is to search for previous posts.

Amazingly enough, you'll find that almost everyone with more than 3 stars has contributed and helped many other people with problems.

These forums are for 2 kinds of people - those who need help and those who offer the help, judging from your recent posts - you don't belong to any!!

It's clear that you want attention and need help - but not the kind we offer in here.

Another thing, bragging about tech ratings when you know full well it's all just a load of BS it even more stupid.

How many people have you helped in here?

Just prove me wrong - reply with "thanks" posts for problems you helped solving.

I'll be the first person to admit that even though I have many certs, great credentials and a lot of experience I DON'T KNOW IT ALL. A professional is always looking to learn more.

Clearly you are not a professional.

I can tell you this - if you carry on this behavior you going to find yourself completely ignored or even banned from the forums and chat room.

Like I said this place is for asking help or offering help - if you don't do either - just don't come!

You have a point here, but please calm down!
The ranking thing is just for fun. I know some people here who don't know almost anything about tech stuff ranked as Tech Gods and things like that. On the other hand, I know others who are more than just experienced techs, ranked as New Members, Tech Wannabes etc. This is for fun!
I don't disagree with you, but please calm down!
