I have recently aquired this virus...and it was executed..everything seems fine till I shutdown...it won't! does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks

I personally prefer Norton's Anti Virus, but others are good as well. Read the thread "What's the best Anti Virus" then choose one you like. I would boot from a clean floppy to run the scanner.

PWSteal.Trojan aka APSTrojan.QA
I deal with this one a lot with AOL users. It can be removed by the instructions found here: http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ven...al.trojan.html

You can also look at www.antivirus.com/vinfo to find the causes, results and fixes for this virus. my fav site.
