Thumbs up Avp will not run on win2k

Hey i have problems running avp on win2k!
As soon as win2k starts.. nothing in the taskbar loads.. and no icons on the desktop load either!

I have experienced this problem ONLY.. when i installed AVP.

When i uninstalled it, everything seemed to be back to normal.

However, I still wanna test AVP.on win2k os.

SO can anyone plz tell me how to fix it?

AVP? Anti-Virus Protection? What brand? What version?

I know I tried to install Norton 2000 on my W2K machine and it didn't work. Had to go get 2001.

Have you checked the box and confirmed that whatever it is you're using is W2K compliant?

You need to be more specific. Such as, the AntiVirus package you are using (i.e. Norton Antivirus, InoculateIT, etc.), exact problem that you are havingc, etc.

i3,

At this point, I would recommend contacting Kapersky Lab Tech support.

Seee their Support page: http://www.kaspersky.com/support.asp

e-mail: support@kasperskylab.co.uk

Good Luck !

Sorry, but an attitude like what you are giving us doesn't get you help faster here!

I'd contact the company that made AVP.

AVX is not an update to AVP.. I have AVP running on my W2k Pro fine. Are you using AVP 3.1 or AVP 3.5? You have to use AVP 3.5 to run correctly on W2k. Also be aware that 3.5 will not run on any Windows Server software. For all of you that don't know what AVP is you might want to educate yourself about it. It is the BEST antivirus software out there right now.
