Question Has anyone run across this???

The file is runonce.exe installed at Windows\system. It loads in the registry under RUN as a MDAC Wrapper. Says it is a microsoft file.

Ran against norton's, macafee's, f-prot, & avx. All say no virus found.

It only affects 9x macines and seems to damage dlls.

Have submitted to both SARC & AVERT.

It IS a Microsoft file, its supposed to be there, and it has a purpose relating to setup. Here is some information on removing it from the registry it if it continues to load on startup: http://www.computing.net/networking/...forum/573.html
