Post parity virus boot disc wanted

Help please i seem to have a parity virus and need a win 95 boot disc with a virus cleaner on it ??? could someone point me to the right site ??I would add that the cd rom is not working and the virus seems to be stopping me loading drivers for that otherwise i would install Norton via the cd rom----thanks very much

I looked up the parity virus and it doesn’t seem to have the same effect as what you are describing. You should still be able to use your CD ROM as it just attaches itself to .com files and slows the running of the .com files on your system down.

If you need a virus scanner that doesn’t need a CD to install try http://www.antivirus.cai.com/ for a free downloadable version of a pretty decent Antivirus tool.

Barring the download, most if not all major brands of Antivirus utilities have a boot disk for infected systems with them when you purchase it. Personally I use the above virus scanner and Norton 2001 (on different systems of course).
