[RESOLVED] duel nics
How do you tell win98 to use one nic to send and one to rec. Trying to setup 2 nic cards on one machine for duel pipeline.
Trying to set it up so that one card does nothing but receive and the other to do nothing but send so that i can get the optimum bandwidth? Any suggestions would really help.

i don't think it's possible, i had 2 modem's (i know that they are not nics) when i dialed into my isp, i did get about double the speed, or about 6.1 kps...but each one was both sending and recieving.
Why would you want more then a 100 mbs connection? are you using a 10-100 mbit card?

I don't think it's possible to do that...I'm not aware of any OS that can do it. Either way, most likely each NIC will have it's own IP address, so the switch or router it connects to won't be able to send on one and receive on the other.
